General Pricing: Making a nice, quality dwarf rabbit is a lot of work! Some colors are extra challenging, when dealing with recessive genes that are hard to come by. Dwarf breeds have small litters, and only a select few are showable, true dwarfs. There are genetic traits with dwarfs, such as "peanuts" and "hippos", and "fuzzies". If I do get something that will improve my herd, I have to keep it to continue my improvements in that color. I have also imported specific rabbits to assist with improving type in certain colour projects. I am working towards breeding to the ARBA Standard of Perfection. Pets are created trying to make the show quality stock so please contact me if there is something you are interested in. Prices vary according to many factors, including the work and genetics involve to create certain colours. Dominant colours that are easy to produce, and common, do not require as much time and effort, fewer breeding stock to produce, are priced lower compared to colours that have required generations of work to create. Remember if you are looking for something specific, you will most likely have to wait several months. Netherlands and Holland Lops: Pet Quality: $85-125(no pedigree) Brood Potential: Starting at $150 (pedigree included) Show Potential: Prices vary depending on quality
I do give discounts to 4-H members (club information required)
All my prices are what I feel is the value of the rabbit. Prices are non-negotiable, unless otherwise stated. I base my prices on the quality of the animal and will truly put time and effort into picking my prices. When pricing I also take into consideration many factors including age, genetics, quality, colours that are harder to produce and require genetics that have taken time and effort to acquire, etc.
